UA4MAR (Utilizzo di sistemi Autonomi per il Monitoraggio e l’Analisi ambientale maRina) is an end-to-end service platform developed for marine habitat mapping and environmental monitoring of coastal areas. The solution was born from the need to streamline in-situ data collection activities, which are often costly in terms of resources, personnel, and operational time. Through the use of Autonomous Surface Vessels (ASVs) equipped with smart payloads, UA4MAR enables the rapid acquisition of large amounts of data, reducing operating costs and environmental impact. The platform supports the entire operational cycle: mission planning, assisted navigation, asset control, data collection, and post-mission management, improving the quality, continuity, and reliability of monitoring.
